A liquid paint booth gives the painter clean, lit, extracted air and keeps overspray out of the shop and the stack. We build paper-filter booths with three filtration stages, dry-filter booths with replaceable cassettes and water-curtain booths that wash the overspray out of the air, for manual and automatic application of solvent and water-based paints.

Paper filter or dry filter?
Paper (accordion cardboard) filters hold a large amount of overspray at low cost and are the usual choice for manual booths; our standard booth adds an EU-3 pre-filter and a metal filter behind them. Dry-filter cassettes have a smaller footprint and are quicker to swap, which suits shops that replace filters often.
When is a water-curtain booth the better choice?
When the parts are large and the paint use is high. A sheet of water on the back wall carries the overspray into a tank, so there are no filter pads to replace; instead the water is treated and the paint is removed from the tank as sludge.
What about VOC rules in the EU?
The booth handles extraction and filtration; solvent accounting under the Industrial Emissions Directive depends on your annual solvent use and is a matter for your operating permit. We document the extraction airflow and filter classes so your permit file has the numbers it needs. On request we supply an emission-measurement port on the stack.
How much electrical load does a booth draw?
Our standard paper-filter booth draws 2.2 kW for the fan and LED lighting. Larger booths and heated air make-up change that figure, so the spec table on each product page states the load for that size.
